“Go then, eat your bread in happiness and drink your wine with a cheerful heart; for God has already approved your works.” Ecclesiastes 9:7
It is time to live happy and free. I have worked hard all of my life in the secular world and in ministry. Now it is time for me to celebrate and enjoy the fruits of my labor. The Lord is pleased with my works. Be encouraged today and know that if you have labored and have spent your time helping others, it is your time to eat, drink and be merry. The blessing of the Lord is overtaking my life and it feels so good to be able to walk in destiny without fear, intimidation or bondage. It has been a long time coming, but I am grateful that the Lord fights my battles for me and gives me grace to have peace and blessings. I am so happy that I feel like dancing and celebrating, and that is just what I am going to do! Let’s go in happiness and enjoy the favor of God and the blessings of the Lord!
“Now it is time for me to celebrate and enjoy the fruits of my labor. The Lord is pleased with my works”. The operational sentence in this passage is “The Lord is pleased with my works”. How many of us can confidently make that declaration? So many are wining and dining and make merry, but their works are far from receiving God’s acceptance. Many are living large and fat on proceeds of illegal businesses – drug, prostitution, child-trafficking, money laundering etc.
