“All too often material wealth in this world is gained through wickedness and greed and is therefore not from God. True riches consist in the blessing of the Lord. Whether we are poor or rich, the Lord’s presence and favor are our greatest wealth.” (Study Notes NIV)
Having the favor of God supersedes dollar wealth and prosperity. The presence of God in one’s life will place every other aspect of life into alignment. All of this together enriches the life of the recipient. I want to enjoy the favor and presence of God all of the rest of my days.
