No More Complaining

“Now the people complained about their hardships in the hearing of the Lord, and when he heard them his anger was aroused. Then fire from the Lord burned among them and consumed some of the outskirts of the camp. “Numbers 11:1

After reading this scripture my mind wandered and it tried to calculate the number of times that I had complained about different things in my life. This scripture proves that God does not like it when we complain. I do not want to push that issue at all. I want to be thankful to him every day. I do not need any type of fire from heaven to burn me up. Symbolically, that fire could represent intense and extra hardships and sufferings. I do not need the “extra” in that either. I choose to be thankful. I choose not to complain.
