Speak Kind Words

“An anxious heart weighs a man down, but a kind word cheers him up.” Proverbs 12:25

There is something about the way we perceive life and situations that can either make us or break us. If we see our circumstances as worrisome events, then our perception will bring a burden to our minds and hearts.   We have to be careful how we view challenges and find a way to understand that challenges make us grow.

Words can help bring comfort to oneself and to others.  Speaking kind words can do wonders for the heart and soul of mankind. It’s so powerful that the atmosphere surrounding the situation can begin to change.  If you see someone who is downhearted, say kind words to help pick him up. I have not seen it fail. Speaking kind words, even to strangers can bring contentment and joy to them. You will notice how their faces light up with happiness and appreciation. The person will feel better and you will too. Try it!
