The Serenity Zone

If you ever experience anxiety or stress, think about creating a “serenity zone.” A serenity zone is a place that you can go to decompress from the distractions and challenges of your life when you need to. The serenity zone can be a physical place or it can also be a mental or spiritual space that you can dwell in. When I need to go into the peace zone I retreat to my favorite places in my home where I dim the lights, throw on the pajamas and escape to soft music. However, if I am not at home I retreat to the zone mentally by finding a quite space, by taking deep breaths and by meditating on only the positive. Reaching the spiritual zone is easily done by praying. Dwelling in the serenity zone is healthy, it creates positive vibes and you can gain strength to get through challenging moments. Get into your serenity zone and survive like a champion! “And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:7
