Saturday Mornings With the Pioneers

“Saturday Mornings With the Pioneers: Continuing the Conversations”

I would like to say thank you to the community and all of those who met me at the Deland House last Saturday for our Parlor Chat with Amanda Worthy, Midwife and Nurse from the 1800s. I have portrayed Amanda Worthy on the “White Coats and Caring Hearts Cemetery Walk Tour ” and the “After hours at the Memorial Hospital and Burgess Pavilion Tour” this year. But I must say the Parlor Chat was the most exhilarating! Thank you for listening to me elaborate on the great history and thank you for sharing your stories! Let’s keep the history alive!
