This Father’s Day I honor my Father -In-Love(Father-In-Law), the Late Bishop John Fander Mitchell. He was a great father to his family and a great father to me. Even after I divorced his son, “Dad” was a constant in my life. When my biological father passed away, my Dad-In-Love stepped in as my father and did his best to encourage me during his life time. Kudus to all of the dads and especially Father-In-Loves who remain consistent in nurturing and loving their daugher-in-loves, even if the married relationship with their sons to their daughter-in-law does not continue. It takes maturity to do something like that. Happy Father’s Day, Dad and thanks for everything. Rest in Paradise royally!
