When I was in college, I remember taking Humanities I and Humanities II as required courses. Humanities is the study of the history of development of human thought and culture. It was easy to become fully immersed in learning about the era that followed after the Middle Ages and the processes of what it took to bridge the gap globally in the worlds of classical philosophy, art and literature. According to dictionary.com, Renaissance is defined as “the activity, spirit, or time of the great revival of art, literature, and learning in Europe beginning in the 14th century and extending to the 17th century, marking the transition from the medieval to the modern world.”
Studying the Renaissance era is worth the time and effort, which brings me to the thought about transition, revival and rebirth. In my daily life, my renaissance goals are to grow mentally, spiritually, emotionally, and intellectually. Creating a new and better life is my “revival” and learning about myself and improving in important areas in my life is my “rebirth”. In your life, what can you do to follow your dreams and passions? What will it take to make sure that your life is happy and fulfilled? What is your “rebirth”? What are your renaissance goals? Take time to re-evaluate your life and transition into the best version of yourself. Make sure that you are living your dreams and that you are happy doing so. When you are living your best life, then you will discover your true Renaissance!
