This scripture makes me happy. I tell you; sometimes living in this unpredictable world can be nerve-wrecking. I don’t know about you, but I need to be able to have some type of relief when I am afraid, frustrated, sad, humiliated or anxious. I do call on the name of the Lord a lot. I have to. It brings me comfort and makes me feel closer to him. The Lord has answered so many of my prayers in my life time. I am going to keep coming back for more. He has done an excellent job of sustaining me and getting me through rough times. Here is what I found out. Praying to him does not prevent the struggles in my life. But praying to him enables me to go through the struggles and come out victorious. I am so glad that he hears my voice and my cries for mercy. It makes me feel awesome that he has turned his ear to me. That is just why I will continue to call on him for the rest of my life. Absolutely! I will call on him as long as I live!
